Frequently Asked Questions

Won’t my concrete move again with another frost cycle?

Yes and no. Frost creates global movement and doesn’t usually manifest itself as uneven concrete unless it is constrained such that it buckles.

Conversely, soil settling and erosion can create relative movement between two adjacent slabs. This is most often responsible for uneven concrete and can only be fixed by replacing the displaced soil. In our case we use a highly densified foam product that lasts for 80+ years!

What if my concrete sinks again in a few months?

If your concrete sinks again in a few months, there is additional settling still occurring. Reach out and we’ll come add some more material to lift the slab again.

Foam? What? To hold my concrete up?

Yep! We use a highly densified poly-foam that can be rated for use under a freeway! This technology is quick, clean, and environmentally friendly.

Won’t animals just chew through the foam?

Not this foam! A squirrel would chip its teeth on this stuff!

How long will the foam last?

This specially designed polyurethane material is environmentally safe and is only susceptible to break down under direct UV light. So, unless your concrete regularly flips over to catch some sun, this foam is going to be satisfied just to sit there and hold your concrete where it’s supposed to be.
